I have loved drawing for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I dreamed of falling in love, raising a family, and one day seeing my stories come to life on the big screen. After earning my degree in Illustration and Graphic Design from Ricks College and BYU, I felt like a bird set free—ready to soar.

Soon after, I married and became a mother. I chose to set many of my creative dreams aside for 15 years while raising my six beautiful children. During that season, I kept my creative spark alive through journaling, organizing my home with purpose, taking long walks, and painting whenever I could.

Eventually, I returned to writing and art, carving out time each week to create. That creative outlet became a source of peace, healing, and strength through some of life’s hardest moments. I am now in a new season as a single lady and as my chickadees have flown into the world.

I am passionate about supporting aspiring artists through my ArtDreamer Academy online courses. I am an approved Fits All Vendor so if you have that homeschool scholarship you can use it to pay for classes. My debut illustrated novel, The Lost Mermaid, is available on Amazon, Kindle and you can listen to it for free on my Organize Your Joy YouTube Channel. 5 more novels are coming in the Mermaid's of Destiny series!

I find joy in dancing, learning, laughing, hiking, swimming, and am a joyful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
