Krystal Meldrum
Artist, Author, & Organizing Mentor
Krystal Meldrum has loved drawing for as long as she can remember. As a little girl, she dreamed of falling in love, raising a family, and one day seeing her stories come to life on the big screen. Though she felt creatively stifled in junior high and high school, everything changed when she earned her degree in Illustration and Graphic Design from Ricks College and BYU. She finally felt like a bird set free—ready to soar.
But with that newfound freedom came the joy of motherhood. Krystal married and welcomed her first daughter, eventually choosing to set her creative dreams aside for 15 years to raise her six beautiful children.
During those years, she kept her creative spark alive through journaling—including writing love journals for her marriage and each of her children—organizing her home with intention, taking long walks, and occasionally painting. Eventually, she returned to writing and art, carving out 20 hours a week to pursue her passions. This creative outlet became a wellspring of peace and strength during life’s hardest moments.
Today, Krystal is passionate about helping women find joy in every season of life. Through her Organize Your Joy classes, she shares tools for cultivating beauty, purpose, and emotional well-being—no matter their circumstances.
Her debut novel, The Lost Mermaid, is available on Amazon and Kindle, and will soon appear on the Organize Your Joy YouTube channel. Krystal dreams of turning her books into motion pictures and bringing her childhood vision of Hollywood to life.
She finds joy in dancing, laughing, hiking, Aquazumba, fresh flowers, and cheesecake—and hopes to empower women everywhere to live with purpose and passion.
