The Art of Mothering Show will be held at the Peteetneet Academy. Come and be inspired as we honor and celebrate the women and mothers who have nurtured the souls of mankind. They are the quiet, unsung heroes whose love and sacrifice shape generations. Truly, the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. Without the influence of women, the beauty and goodness that fill the earth would not exist. We have all been lifted by a mother and walked a higher road because of her. Let’s celebrate the behind-the-scenes angels who have given so much to each one of us.
I was honored to win Best of Show at the Payson Onion Day Fine Art Show 2025 for Relying on God’s Love. Remember, in a world of comparison, God’s opinion is what matters. He loves you deeply and sends daily love notes —close your eyes, listen, and feel His gentle whisper reminding you of your true worth.
The Art of Mothering: Organize Your Joy One Season at a Time
A companion book to the show will feature all 52 motherhood paintings, each paired with a heartfelt, one-page reflection that shares the inspiration behind the artwork.
This collection is a celebration of family, faith, and the divine influence of mothers—capturing moments that strengthen families, honor motherhood, and deepen our connection with God.

In the book Mini Habits, the author Stephen Guise explains that mini habits are tiny, ridiculously easy actions you do every day to build momentum and consistency.
Instead of aiming for huge goals that feel overwhelming, you start with something so small you can’t fail—like one push-up, reading one page, or writing 50 words every day.
Get a year-at-a-glance calendar and track your mini habits with no more than 4 mini habits at a time. The magic is that these little wins bypass procrastination, create positive momentum, and often lead to doing more than you planned, all while building lasting habits without burnout.
Mini Habits are changing my life, and they can change yours too!
My current 4 mini habits are:
wall sit 1 minute,
sing one song,
sketch 2 minutes,
and read 5 pages.
I always do more than I plan because the goal is so easy. These 4 goals are helping me strengthen my body, memorize 13 songs, paint daily, and read a book a month! Little doings grow into big happenings!

Well, you can with mini-habits. Just 2 minutes a day, 5 days a week, and—poof!—you’re 260 drawing days better by the end of the year!
Starting is the hardest part, so if you need help with your goals, make your mini habit smaller and watch your dreams come to pass!
