My Lambs
My neighbor hiked a red rock mountain and noticed a shepherd with sheep dogs herding sheep in the valley. The shepherd knew each lamb’s name and he called after them. The sheep followed him; not out of fear, but because they knew and trusted their master.
Another herd of sheep raced up the mountainside followed by cowboys, whips, terror, and dust. The contrast was apparent. The shepherd in the valley was like the Savior who truly cared for his sheep. The Savior knows our names and loves us because we are His. Even if a lamb gets lost, he will find it.
