The eleven jewels around this woman’s crown represent my mother’s eleven children. She always told us we were her crown jewels and more precious to her than any material possession. She taught us what treasures were of most value. She said, “Your relationships, your knowledge, and your testimony are the only things that you will take with you into the next life, so spend your best time building those.” I have been blessed by taking her counsel to heart, echoing Proverbs 31, “Her children arise up, and call her blessed.”
